Men's Breakfast!

Great news - this Sunday - we are allowed to sing! You must be masked, and you must be vaccinated - but I look forward to singing God's praise with you on Sunday!

And just a reminder - if you are unwell or have been asked to isolate - please don't come physically, but join us online.

Over the last few weeks I have encouraged you to:

  • Set your eyes on the things of God (Col 3:1-4)

  • Grow in Faith, Not Fear (Luke 12:4-7)

  • Come to Give, Not Get (Hebrews 10:24)

Today, I want to encourage you from 1 Corinthians 12:26 which says:
if one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

Over the last 2 years, many parts of our church have suffered, for all sorts of reasons. We've been challenged, shaken, and brought to our knees in tears. Some have left church.

As we come back to church - I want us to pause and think of those we have left behind. Think of people in our church you have not seen or heard of for a while. Pray for them. Give them a call. Ask how you can help them. Then invite them back to church.

If one part suffers - we all suffer. So let's make sure as we head back to church - we leave no one behind.

Men's Breakfast (THIS Saturday, 8am, my place)
Are you a man? Do you want to learn how to be a better man? A better husband? A better son? A better father? A better friend? A better brother in Christ?

This Saturday morning the MEN of Lighthouse and St James Berala are meeting to discuss how we can better encourage each other to be the men God made us to be.

8am at my house. Please let me know if you are coming. Breakfast is provided.

What are we looking at this Sunday? 1 John 2:28-3:24
What does it look like to live out the love of our Father in heaven? Read 1 John 2:28-3:24 to prepare for church on Sunday as we hear from our guest preacher - Sam Freney.
